CSIRO Wrong on Climate Change

In the Australian Parliament today, Senator Malcolm Roberts tabled a document that claims the CSIRO has no proof that climate change is really happening. While I haven't read the document, I can say with some confidence that the only real proof in those pages is that the global campaign by the fossil fuel alliance to delay the shutdown of their polluting industries by blocking legislation and disrupting national and international strategies to deal with this very real crisis, is alive and well.

In case anyone missed it, Professor Naomi Oreskes from Harvard University spent five years researching claims that climate science was inconclusive. She examined almost a thousand scientific papers to see how many disagreed with the scientific consensus. She found none. When she was in Adelaide this year for the WOMAD Earth Talks she described the continuing debate in the Australian Parliament over climate science as "tragic!"
